New Cool Idea by Wal-Mart

So I got back from my trip a few days ago. My family and I went to Connecticut to attend my cousin’s wedding. We drove down there, and let me tell you, the drive has it’s good points and it’s bad points. One good point is driving on the I-90, there are lots of rest stations, so I can go the washroom frequently. It does not have too much traffic either, but once yo get into Connecticut, and go on the city highways, oh man, those are horrible. Like every 500m there is an exit, and the signs are so confusing. So we were there for about 48 hours, and we got nothing, no return items. We did not have time.

But one thing I did see that was cool was in Wal-Mart. In the CD section, they have these machines that you place the CD barcode underneath it. The machine scans the CD and supposedly plays whichever song you desire to hear from the CD. This was an amazing concept I thought, it goes into a database and plays any song you want. However, I could not get the machine to work, and I did not want to look like a fool whose never seen it (even though that is the case) standing in front trying to get it to work.

One of the mot awkward things I saw down there was once a certain time at night hit, many of the streetlights start flashing. I was in total confusion of what this meant. We were following another car, so they were from Canada as well. So they ended up stopping at the light, and treating it as a four way stop sign. Meanwhile, we stopped too, and then we see all these cars go straight through. I guess it’s a good way to keep traffic moving, and treat it as a caution. This way nobody has to stop at lights when there are obviously not cars going the other way. When I told a co-worker of mine today, she told me many of the smaller towns do the same thing, flash yellow on direction, and red the other direction. Of course she’d know cause she lives in a small town up north.

The beginning of the basketball season has started, my teams seem to be doing pretty well so far tonight. I have been anxious about this season, more fantasy basketball teams. And, I will get to go to my first basketball game this year, waiting for that day to come.

You know I don’t know what is happening this past year with my clothes. It seems things I usually put in the wash and no harm is done, I do it now and everything is shrinking like mad. I have lost the use of many articles of clothing this past year, and it’s making me mad. Cause that means I have to buy more cause I lose an article. It also means ones I like a lot are now too small. What is with this, do I have to wash everything by hand now? I think there is something to do with the water.

Speaking of water. Coming home in the car today I listen to 680 News and it told me Ernie Eves plans to pass a new law that will make Ontario’s water the safest in the world. However, this comes at an expense, and that means a raise in water prices. As of today, we pay about 1/10th of a cent for every litre of water we use. However, thinking of raise, what if they raise it to 1/5th of a cent for every dollar. Now that rate does not seem so bad because it’s like 1/5th of a cent, but if you think about it, that’s double what you pay now, so it means your water bill will double. Now I doubt they will double the water bill, but this put some hindsight into the rates.

Wow, today is thursday and I have not blogged all week, what happened?
Work these days have been busy, everytime I intend to leave a bit earlier, I was held up at work doing some last minute stuff that came up the last two hours I was there. So I get home later, and thus, I can't do much.

TV UPDATE

The Bachelor - Four girls left, two blondes, two brunettes. Heather from Texas was so sad last night. hahaha

Smallville - Lana was so close to opening up Clark. However Clark fears the worst if he opens up. However he still protects her from the guy in the basement. Some guy locked in his own basement in his house because he turns into a beast in sunlight. Lionel Luther's company made him this way. Anyways, Mrs. Kent (Clark's mother) is working for Lionel Luther now, as his personal assistant.

The Amazing Race - I did not watch this cause I watched The Bachelor, but I have it on tape. Anyways, two girl law students from Harvard cheated in the race. They were suppose to walk to the pit stop, but instead they took taxi. Therefore, they were eliminated because of a penalty. Way to show what your UNiversity is all about girls.

That is all I watched this week.

Justin and I went shoe shopping on Sunday. He already bought his shoes, but he said he'd buy it again, and return the previous pair so we can both get discounts at Foot Locker. Anyways, I almost did not get my pair, cause they had it in a box ready to ship to North Bay to sell. Anyways, I got mine. But Justin's pair was $30 more than he paid before. But then I said I have SPC, and so then it was worth it. Then he got the shoe, and we found out it was actually on sale. He ended up saving about $100 on his shoe from what he paid before. Man are you lucky I got you to buy the shoe. AND also that I mentioned I have SPC, otherwise, you would not of gotten your shoe, and the huge discount.

The sniper down in the States supposedly was caught this morning. Now if anything else happens, we know it's not the guy they caught, and yet again another wrong lead. But over the course of this investigation, one thing I noticed, George Bush did not get involved. Yet 13 shootings went on and he did not say a thing. Task Force Chief Moose said a lot though, and everything he said was dumb. "Oh, can you call again, the guy who answered your call could not hear and get all your information. We want to talk to you. " Well obviously!

You know what I was just thinking, I was thinking I'd like to hear the most outrageous story you have about your experience with girls. Like say your interested in a girl, what is the most "out of your box" thing you've ever done. Once I get one story, I will post mine. Mine is not that good, but it's definately something I normally would not do, however is not really that big. So tell me your story, via the comment section below (hopefully it is not down)

That is all for now. Peace.

Today at church, it was crazy. Today was the 35th Anniversary of Toronto Chinese Baptist Church and we held a joint congregation service. That means all three services (English, Cantonese and Mandarin) together for one service. What made it so crazy was the amount of people in the one sanctuary. All in all I'd estimate about 700 people in the main Sanctuary. Pratically every seat was filled. Now this may not compare to some churches, but for us, this is tons of people.

I also found out it was Scarborough Chinese Baptist Church's Anniversary for them too. They so big they went to Convocation Hall. Who do you think you are? heheh

I was presented with some news today that really made me happy. So if you don't know, I am leading the Men's group at UT CCF with Bernie Ma. We really wanted to set the tone at this group, and make sure people realize that this is an open group, and we want to open up to each other. However, the morning of the first meeting Bernie called me and told me he could not make it because he was too sick. So I went at it alone, and seriously, I was struggling with things to say. But today I got news that people did enjoy it, and that they did feel this was a group where people are very open. So let's pray and hope that this continues. I have an idea for this week's discussion, because we could not settle on a book. I'll update you on how that goes later this week.

So I said I went to see a play yesterday night, I went with Dorothy and two others. But Dorothy drove me down, and she was telling me that someone once told her that the most aggressive drivers on the road are ladies in big cars. Now I think to myself, is this true? What do you all think?

I know a lot of people would agree that women are worse driver's than men. Now I am not making this a generalization, I am just saying SOME people may agree with this statement. I am also not saying that is my stance on this topic. but let's first look at this big car issue. I would agree with that, that once you get a big car, you also get more agressive, why? Because you feel more safe in a big car, so you feel if you get hit, not total lost, probability of living is higher than before probably. So I would agree with this, because look at truck drivers, and bs drivers, they are very aggressive because they think they rule the roads. They think if they inch a little to where they want to go, cars will slow down to let them in, because they dont' want to be hit by the bus/truck. So I agree with this big car notion.

Now are women more aggressive than men. Now I think this depends on age group. IN the middle aged group, I would not say so. I would say most women once they reach a certain age start fearing the roads. They would like to get off them, and let others drive. However, those younger, is a different story. Those girl/women who get their own cars, they are aggressive. Because they are the ones who like to drive, and when they get their own car, they think I can do whatever I want, so suddenly the aggressive-meter goes up.So I guess it can be said that women with big cars are aggressive, but I would not make it a generalization.

another thing I encountered today. A girl was telling me one of her girl-friends got a new Civic, nice car. And she was saying why did her friend get such a nice car? She can get guys to drive her. But let me say, some girls like driving, They dont' like being driven everywhere, They like to do what they want, when they want, and their own cars let's them do that. They like fancy stuff obviously, so they get themselves a nice car. So I have no argument with girls in nice cars. In fact, that is the type of girl I want. Last thing I want to be is a chauffeur.
Love's Labour's Lost
I went to go see a Shakespeare play tonight. Love's Labour's Lost. After seeing it, it brought back all my memories of why I hate English. I was never good at English, I men I can speak it alright, but I was never good at studying the language, let alone the Old English of Shakepearean times.

So as I was sitting there, this is a comedy by the way, I wondered if I would ever understand one of the jokes. I was having a hard time understanding the dialogue, and while everyone else was laughing around me, I was sitting there trying to make some darn sense into what they were saying. So then I thought to myself, maybe if I just relax a little, and not try so hard, just let the words come to me, 'll start understanding.

So I just sat there, not trying to translate every sentence into modern english, and just absorbing what I understood. And it worked. Well for some parts. I actually started laughing, but not really hysterically, just a chuckle here, a chuckle there. I guess I was just not amused enough like some others. All in all, a good night in seeing it.

This play was performed by The Trinity College Dramatic Society (TCDS) an was playing at trinity of course. However with any play at night, I will at times almost fall asleep. It was not like totally boring, but when your only understanding half of the dialogue, you get bored a little. so the play lasted 1.5 hours, and was an interesting night, not something I do every night.

Basically the story is about four educated men, who vowed to each other to devote three years to studying. However the story gets a little more interesting when the Princess of France coems with her three ladies, and the story is about men trying to woo women without losing their respect.

Happy Birthday Richard!
Turning 20 now!
I remember when I first met Richard. I did not like him very much. I met him through Wendy. I felt he was so quiet that it almost seemed like he thought he was so much better. Richard is like super-smart guy, University student at 16. as the years went on, I got to know him more, and understood who he was more. I saw a lot of changes throughout this past year from Richard. Mostly past 6 months. It's been nice seeing him grow and change. Happy Birthday man.

If you have not watched Surivivor, ER, or Friends, don't read the first part.

Survivor: Stephanie got voted off. This was a good episode. The Chuay Guan won the immunity challenge, AND, the other challenge, they got the best food. It was an auction to buy food, and they chose to spend their money wisely on some good food.

ER: Didn't see Leslie Bibb on the show today. But the army guy punched the other black guy. Carrie was on television promoting flu shots, so he demonstrated on the hosts of the morning show. Unfortunately for her, she FORGOT TO CHANGE THE NEEDLE. Loser. and on a funnier note, Romano sent Carrie a cactus with a note attached to it saying "Your 15 minutes of fame is up". hehehe. Carter is worried about Abbey, that she is drinking again. They are in a fight.

Friends: Phoebe is worried she is 30 and has never had a serious relationship. Joey is the same thing, but think his life is great. He was bothered by thinking he's slept with this girl he met, but she dos not remember him. Turns out it was her roommate.

Way things work out

Weird thing about long weekends. Everytime you takl to somebody about what they do during a long weekend, they tell you they try to catch up on sleep. But it's always the case that come Tuesday morning, they are even more tired than usually on Monday mornings. So it totally does not happen that you get more sleep, or catch up on sleep.

The reason for this is because you also want to do more. You want to make good use of your freetime, so you spend time donig more active things. And this throws off your system, making you feel more tired than usually. all that active stuff you did during the weeknd has made you even more tired. So I know next time come long weekend, that I will be tired come Tuesday morning

Broke Own record

Today was a good day. I went GoKart racing again today, and I beat my time last time by a lot. If only I did not get stuck on the side, my average would be like 37/38 seconds. But I got stuck twice, and I averaged 40.23sec. and fastest lap of 36.93 seconds.

I hope the weather get's warmer, I'd like to spend a few more days with less heavy clothing. If it's anything like last year, it'll go back up to about 15-20 until end of Nov soon.

Prayer Item:
- Start of Men's group at UTCCF tomorrow, pray that it goes well and our intentions for this year can succeed

Happy Birthday to Lydia and Tricia.

I first met Lydia in first year, she was the very nice girl at CCF. She was so approachable and easy to talk to. Always having such a nice smile on her face. I still remember she asking Bernie and myself to go to Winter retreat for CCF. She was in third year at the time. I was not too into CCF at that time, so I was not sure. So I was asking her how it is, and she told me, this would be her first year going. So as a reaction, I would give some excuse, and so I was like, "well, I want to be more like you, so maybe I should wait until third year to go, to follow in your footsteps". And by chance, I did wait until third year to go to Winter retreat. But Lydia has still been so easy to talk to, and fun to talk to. I ahve enjoyed being your friend Lydia, I don't get to talk to you too often, but when I do, I always enjoy it.

I met Tricia in first year too, but pretty late in the year. I was visiting my friend Eric at Innis residence, and she was in his room doing something, I have no idea what. And then the story began. In second year, I was over at her place a lot. Cause I love Innis, and he slived with Jasmine, Lorraine, Natalie, and it's just a good place to chill, and relax, and rest. and she is so easy to talk to, always been that way. Especially when she meets someone new, and find out school you came from, she'd be like "oh, do you know....". This girl knows tons of people lemme tell you.

Anyways, Happy Birthday girls
Days Past

Today at Sunday school, I walked in, sat down, we had some food. The service was a lot of singing, because we invited the editor of the new Hymnal to dedicate the book. So a lot of singing, like 13-15 songs. So I walk into Sunday school, sit down. The teacher Will says to the class, since we sung so much, we're going to sing a song before we get started. I was thinking to myself, more songs, what song can we sing that they know everyone knows?

Then they start singing Happy Birthday. Yes it was my birthday yesterday, and I was caught off guard not thinking something like this would happen, and Philina/Priscilla/Justine brought cupcakes and lit a candle for me, thanks girls.

So my birthday was yesterday, and I generally had a good day. But let me tell you one thing that bothers me, and I talk about it because it happened recently. If you are ever to organize something and specify venues and stuff, please do inform all people, even those who say "maybe I'll drop by" if you decide to change venues. I am not going to get into the specifics, but let's just say venues were changed on me, and I was not to happy to show up at old location find out it is not there.

Okay, so I went to fellowship on Friday, and we talked about Romans 11. We had the Youth intern there to help us. He usually goes with th High school bunch, but we stayed with the University group this time. So it occured to me that whenever a Pastor/Intern Pastor is around, tehy are always expected to have most of the answers, or at least be able to answer most of the questions. Do you think it's like expected of them to be able to answer, or at least say somethign when you have a question? Like I would say he spoke for a good 60% of the time, if not more. But say when they are not around, things still go smoothly, and talk still comes out.But I always notice when a Pastor is around, they speak a lot, always pray (either at beginning, or end, or both). It's kind of weird I think that they are almost expected to talk a lot. Sure in general they probably know more than us, but it sould not be expected that they answer all questions, or all questions be directed to them.

I am not saying that is what happened on friday, but I can say the Intern did talk a lot, and to my benefit too. Cause he said a lot that spoke to me, and it was great. he brought out a lot of good references, and ideas that helped us all understand it a little more. But I was just thinking why it always happens like that, that we expect the Pastor to answer most questions that are asked.

I missed a day of blogging again, but I could not get home, cause I was at fellowship But it was relly good fellowship today, we studied Romans 11, and it was very insightful. Something came to mnid while i was there that I can talk about, but I'll save it for tomorrow, it's so late.

I spent like 1.5 hours at Mitchells today and I got nothing. Then went to atheletes world and sports chek looking for running shoes, and got nothing. I want a new bible, was looking for a NLT bible cause it's easy to read. But I need something where I can write in it, but big enough to read as well. It's hard finding just the right bible. any suggestions anybody?

Okay, good night!

Not gonna write much today.

I had a meeting today with the CCF committee and fellow cell group leaders. Yes I am leading Men's cell group with Bernie. It was a good meeting, although it was supposed to start at 6, and I dind't get there until 6:45, and I was still the earliest. I told henry I was going to be late though, I can't help it, I have to work.

So I ended up having dinner with Catherine. It was a really good dinner at BBQues. I felt kind of bad cause she is on crutches, and I couldn't help much. So I carried her bag for her, but as she was going up the two stairs into the restaurant, I couldn't do anything to help her. And then I got these "looks" from people who walked by. And I could see it in their eyes, saying "Why doesn't that guy help her?" But it's not like the doorwar it huge, I could not do much but hold the second door for her.

Anyways, on my drive home, I was going down University, and I get to King and I see the policemen just come onto the intersection. I was wondering, what is this, and we just sat there for a few minutes, and I realize, oh yeah, the Queen is at Royal Thompson Hall. So it's probably ending, and she is being escorted home. So they blocked off all the roads so her car could go by without traffic or stopping. So I got to see the Queen's car, assuming she is in there, I mean it could of been a decoy.

So that's my day, had some unneeded stress at work today, but I won't get into that. But interesting though, we were talking about stressful times during lunch, and we came up with these:
1. Getting Married
2. Having a child, or a young kid
3. Moving
4. (I'd like to add) exams (for us students)
5. ... anything else?

Show Update

Not much happened today, which can be a good thing. So I'll update you on some shows:

Amazing Race - The brother/sister group lost. The twin models used their fast forward and wound up in first place. They don't seem to be making any friends, cause sounds like some people don't like them.

The Bachelor - I know, dumb show. Anyways, 15 girls down to 10. 2 dropped out before the handing out of the roses, that's be Frances (the oriental girl) and Amindita (the Indian girl), go figures. anyways, I don't like this Christi girl, she's always making these dumb faces.

Presidio Med - a new show, third week watching it. The young lady doctor wants to fertilize some eggs as a backup plan. after she chose the guy who she wants sperm from, she finds out he's full. Meaning his stuff has given birth to 12, the max, company policy. So she ends up going to a co-worker, who has been begging.

Frasier - this whole story of Roz wanting a threesome with Niles and Daphne. Well not wanting, but misinterpreting it.Frasier get's Marty to run for condo-chair so he can run the show, cause nobody would ever vote for him, cause he has no people skills. turns out to be a failure.
The Realm of Hope and Domain of Disappointment

I was so busy looking at my fantasy pools/teams I totally forgot all about this.

Anyways, found this quote a few days ago:

PRESENT, n. That part of eternity dividing the domain of disappointment from the realm of hope.
- Ambrose Bierce

I found it kind of interesting to read. He calls the past a disappointment and the future a realm of hope. I can understand the "realm of hope" because that is in fact what the future is, hope. Anything can happen in the future and it is up to us to take advantage of this. There is the saying Seize the Day: Carpe Diem. That is what the future is, it can be anything as long as we look forward.

But what catches me is this "domain of disappointment". I don't totally agree with it. Although he has a good point that a lot of time when we look back on life, we see missed opportunities, things could of done differently, all things that could of been but isn't. Although most things are not a disappointment. Because of all things in the past are a disappointment, then as time passes, and things in past are still a disappointment, then that means our whole life is a disappointment, and that is hardly the case.

I would find it hard to believe that life in general is a disappointment. I mean there are a lot of things to live for. Life is worth living for, although not easy, experiences in itself are like a roller coaster ride. There are times when thigns are high, and time when things are low. But could the argument be made that things always go back to where you were? I'd disagree with that, so I won't talk about it.

I think for my life, although many times I always think about what's going on? and dwell on the missed opportunities. However, it's always the case when you look back and see things so much clearer. "Hindsight is always 20/20" is quote from The Practice (TV show). And it is right, when you look back, things are like crystal clear. although when at the time, you will not see it all the time.

But with everything that may of gone poorly, there are the time you look back and think how good it was. And that can't possibly be a disappointment. I look back and wonder why I am in Engineering, although I find some of it interesting, I am not sure it's what I want to do. and I wonder, why did I put myself through this. But then I look at the people I've met, the things I've learned, the things that come out of it makes me happy. I can't say I learned a lot from the work, but it was fun doing some of it. I don't know who this Abrose Bierce is, however his name sounds like he's a religious man for some reason. Which is off for a religious figure to say something like this. If anybody knows who he is, so I don't have to look it up, share. Anyways, I was gonna say I think this is the wrong way of looking at life, and I don't agree with him. Any thoughts or interpretations?
Darn, I missed the deadline

Women Holding Back

So I was deleting all the junk mail in my hotmail account, and then I sign out. Of course, Microsoft defaults the page to go to msn.ca. There is actuallly a lot of interesting articles and information on that site, so I frequently read it whenever I sign out of hotmail.

This particular article catches my eye. Entitles Boost your brain power!. So I go to the link, and low and behold, it brings me to a website hosted by Women's Central. Just like them right, saving all the goodies for themselves. hahaha *j/k*

Anyways, this is a really interesting article on how to boost your own brain power.

Anyways, here are their tips:

1. Bend your mind - do puzzles, crosswords, etc
2. Indulge your ears - listen to music
3. Use your hands - Finger dexterity is good
4. Stand tall - Work out
5. Keep the past alive - journals, scrapbooks, etc

I know I need more brain power, and hope this helps you. Read the article, and then surf around the site to see what else Women hold out on us.!

Hillsong

I had written something about my experience last night, but for some reason, it disappeared.

Anyways, last night was an amazing experience. I went to Queensway Cathedral to see Hillsong. They are a band from Australia who write contemporary Christian songs. I never even knew they were a band before last night, and I had sung so many of their songs before.

I found out they are a church (website) of 14,000 people. Truly this is an act of God bringing all these people together in one church.

So anyways, this was an experience well needed for me. I felt just going sideways, and not going forward often, and this night just gave me so much. I have made it my goal this year to participate in more things, and be more active in fellowship.

It was amazing to see the people there lining up. I got there at 6:30, and luckily for me, I had Dorothy and Jeff standing there for me. I really appreciate what they did, and I am so grateful. theygot there at 5PM and the first show is not until 7:30PM. But what's worse is we didn't even make the first show, it was that packed. From what I heard, people at the front got there at 12PM. So we were so close to the front, when they stopped letting people in. So we waited until the next show, at about 9PM I think.

The only bad point of the night was about 15 mins after getting there, the lady behind us started ranting. she was upset with all the extra people in our group, and made her frustration known. she was staring me down. she was yelling at us "Have you ever read the book on Honesty?" Man, I wasn't too happy with all her yelling. but I didn't do anything. I do admit, budding wasn't cool of me. And it didn't look too good that ou party had multiplied by so many. I just wanted to turn around and say "Yes I have, along with the book on patience, and turning the other cheek", but I didn't of course. (don't worry, this story does not end with me yelling at her, or saying something smart, I just did not respond.) So by the time we got near the entrance and they stopped letting people in, the lady decided to leave and not wait anymore.

Nevertheless, it was still a good night. If I am ever in Australia, I will definately try and make a stop at Hillsong Church.

Saturday, October 05, 2002

I don't know what happened to all I wrote about Hillsong, but to make things short, so I can sleep, It was amazing.

Jonah: A Veggie Tales experience

Guess what's out in theatres today. Our favourite Christian series. Veggie Tales. That's right, at your local theatre is Veggie Tales where talking Christian vegetables teach us about Jonah, and the whale.

Mind you, I don't think I've ever watched a whole episode of Veggie Tales, but I hear they are good.

Update on TV shows Tonight

As you all know, today is packed Thursday, everything is on tonight.

Friends - Ross is still angry with Rachel and Joey. Chandler agreed to move to Tulsa Oklahoma after he fell asleep on a meeting at work, and in advertently said yes to moving.

Scrubs - There really never is a plot to this sitcom, but it's so funny. Anyways, the guy with curly hair (I can't get anybody's name on this show), the second-in-charge guy, he told his ex-wife he's still in love with her.

C.S.I. - another murder solved. After a male movie star has "chinese" for dinner, he finds one of them is not a women, and kills them both. Do you get my drift now? Anyways, he looks guilty, show ends.

ER - Elizabeth comes back to Chicago. New students at the ER. One of them is Leslie Bibb who starred in the show Popular. I always found this girl really pretty, too bad her show is cancelled. But I guess she's on ER now, so it's good. Carrie cried after talking with Elizabeth, don't know why yet. Elizabeth is being very insensitive to people, plain and simple she's become very mean and inconsiderate.

Survivor - Jed got vited off after the young team lost to the old team. Ghandia is accusing Ted is acting "sexually" against her. He admits he did some wrong things, but is in no way attracted to her, and he just did it because he thought she was his wife after sleeping beside each other. The Old team clobbered the young team in all the competitions, and Robb, some guy on the yuog team with a ring on his chin, he's, well I can't say these words, let's say I don't like him.
I was thinking of turning back time. What do I mean you ask? Well the blog clock is wrong, it cheated me out of "beating the deadline". I posted before 12AM and it did not show that time. So I was thinking of turning back to the original setting of Pacific time, that way it gives me 3 more hours. hahahaha.
Where all our Money goes

I just got out of the shower, and I was thinking while in the shower. I went out to lunch today, and also had dinner out. I had to pick up mom mom cause she went on this tour of seeing the trees/leaves, things like that in Muskoka. So I had to wait for her uptown after work, so I bought dinner for the two of us.

Anyways, I was thinking on average, I prob spend much more than $20 a week on food. But let's use $20 as an example. If I spent $20 each week on food, over the course of 52 weeks, that would be $1040 on food. Now what I spend on food is probably closer to about $30 on food so that makes $1560 a year on food. Now of course if really thinking that's not a lot of money, but it actually is to a student. That is a lot of money for someone who does not have a lot, or does not make any.

Why is the cost of living so high here. You spend like $1.50 just on a hot cup of coffee. Having on five days a week, for 52 weeks, that's $390 just on coffee. Food should really be cheaper. That is by far the most costly expense and necessity we all use our money on.

Garbage on TV

The stuff they put on television now is just disgraceful. I mean of course there are a lot of television shows that are good and all, but then there are some that I can't just believe they put on tv.

The one show I am directing this at is called Elimidate. This is almost like the shows Blindate, 5th Wheel, and Meet the Parents. What happens is I think 4 people from one gender go out with one person of the opposite gender. This show is like disgusting and totally depicts all the bad qualities you don't want yuor kids seeing.

The worst is when the girls are trying to get the one guy. So four girls go out with this one guy, to try an get him. They go out, do stuff together and Round by Round the guy eliminates a girl until the last round when he's left with one girl.

Everytime I see parts of this show, guess which girl wins, the slut. Let me tell you, the girl who always wins is always the one whose all over the guy the whole night, and screams "I want to sleep with you tonight". But then in defense of girls in general, teh guy prob is a "slut" too cause he just wants to get laid. This is prob exactly what the networks look for, sex sells.

This show is disgraceful because it tells girls out there that to get the guy they want, well hopefully you can fill in the next sentence. If you can't, you can e-mail me, and I'll tell you what it is. This is totally what should not be on tv because it gives off totally the wrong impression. This is probably the worst tv show on the air. I've seen show where this guy gets in bed with these two girls. One girl is just lying there, while the other girl, let's say she's not so "laid back". And of course the girl who "takes intitiative" get's the guy.

Now I have not seen many of the shows where the girls go for the guy, so I can't comment as well on it. But it's probably a while bunch of guys trying to "get" the girl, if you get my drift.

Anyways, that's my beef, have a good night.
