Happy Birthday Freda

I think this is late, but that's okay I hope. unfortunately I have not talked to you in a while, but I must still think your the best friend I got out of High School. We'll talk soon. I trust things are still going well with you, and I hope you have a fantastic birthday.

This weekend was odd. I felt it lasted so long, like it never ended. I think it's because my days were so long the whole weekend, that I feel it lasted longer. And at the end, what do I get, some lack of sleep, some bruises on my body, and some cuts and scars as well. All in a good weekend. =) No I am not being abused, not did I get beat up physically. I'll get to the effects below.

Friday and Saturday was all devoted to Ken & Ann's wedding. Took me so long to get to Brampton. I decided not to take the 401 because I knew it would be busy, and 410 would bne too. And I thought taking Hwy 7 would be faster. However I also knew that at Keele, hwy 7 is packed. Anyways, ended up pretty much taking city all the way there, took about time I expected, but if not for all those lights on Steeles, I think it could of been faster, adn the fact some of those turns on Hwy 7 are messed up causing me to go in wrong direction twice. At the end, it was nice going there. Got to talk to the bride's brother and his gf who just came from HK. And then started the moving. From about Friday 11PM til saturday 12AM, it was like all moving, and wedding stuff, with about 3 hours sleep in between. Thus all the cuts, expecially on my hands. It's quite the task to drive the van with both seats out, and equipment packed to the roof. I could not see behind me, and had to rely incredibly on my two side mirrors. And then those gas pumps up the garage at Ann's building did not help, because of such steep slopes, had to press hard on gas, and then everything seemed to shift backwards because of the G-force (I think that's the name, otherwise it's not enough friction to go against the force of gravity.

The wedding was quite the unusual event, had non-traditional songs, the groom sang with guitar when the bride walked down. Had in the middle, a three song performance by the groomsman while the bridesmaids were the choir. Anyways, all in all, congratulations Ken and Ann. Wish both of you the best in your future. When I see them, it makes me wonder whether I'll find love like theirs. I still remember one day walking up to school early in the morning, I see them walking down University together. Ken was walking Ann to work /school before he went to work. Such a sweet thing to do, it was such a nice day. Perhaps one day I'll get to do the same.

Sunday we had a softball practice. Unfortunately we could not secure a field so we ended up going to this dinky little half-diamond that no guy wanted to hit in, because of the fear of hitting a window in one of the houses on one side, or a car window on the other side. Anyways, we still were there, but things went well I think. At the end, I came out with a few bruises, but nothing that won't heal fortunately. but today I am in pain. My back hurts more than ever. I think it was those Shaolin exercise moves. Thanks Davin, actually I liked them, we should do them more. However, my pain stretches from my ankles to my shoulders. It's possibly because I have only gone to the gym once in the last two and half weeks. With all this CC, wedding, and then some other important things, have not exercised in a long time besides the crunches and push ups.

I've got more to say, if I dont't find time today, check in tomorrow.
