Okay, so last night I again went to a coffee shop (just Second Cup this time) to get some good reading done for my design project. So I sat down with my laptop, and there were these two fairly young people, probably no more than my age, if even, sitting in the corner on the nice comfy chairs facing each other. Now I know eavesdropping is not so good, but Dr. Greenman at CC did say eavesdropping is good. However, maybe not in this context.

In any case, I listened to some of their conversation. The unfortunate thing is I did not get the whole context of their conversation, but I picked up enough to understand. I found their conversation rather interesting, albeit too short and no long substance or result.

So here is what I heard. So one of the things that caught my attention was the girl, who started saying something in the form of "I have cheated on a past bf before, but...." And she went on from there. Sounds like these two were dating, and were having an intimate conversation, maybe on brink of breaking up, maybe not, or just getting to know each other probably more like it. So the girl really had no remorse did not seem, she acted like "he deserved it" kind of thing. Then she went on with saying events leading up how, "we were sitting down eating when this girl approached us, and she said 'why are you with my b/f?' and she responded 'no, he's my b/f!'." Of course this is some interesting conversation. Anyways, it sounds like this girl at the coffee shop cheated on her b/f because of spite and payback. Then she said how they broke up, then got back together. etc etc.

Anwyays, why i say it has not substance, because nothing happened after that. She kind of ignored the topic I think, cause she took his phone, started playing with it in front of him (playing meaning games). And that was the end. So waht started out to be an interesting conversation, ended rather prematurely.

I do not draw conclusions from this conversation, but I just found it rather funny to hear, and good to tell so others can enjoy the conversation as well. And to tell you, if you have something you'd rather nobody hear, make sure you don't. Cause there are people like me around listening. hehehe

The last two days driving to work have been pretty good. I think this means the summer vacations have started. Because last summer while driving to work, the traffic was pretty good. But once September hit, it increased dramtically. They say at everypoint in time during the summer, there is 10% less traffic because of vacations. So that's great for me. I won't be around in September driving. and I get to work at a better pace than usual.

I've had my laptop for a little over a week now and I am enjoying it. But I don't know if I mentioned this before, but prior to getting it, my desktop was driving me crazy, because it always crashed on me about at least two times a night. However, ever since I started using my laptop, the desktop has not crashed as much. Yes it still does, but not as often. maybe the desktop knows it's being phased out, and probably bring replaced? It knows if it doesn't start behaving, that it will cease to exist. Doesn't matter, it will be replaced anyways, it will have a new OS, less programs, and better start behaving.

Who was listening to 680 News this morning before 9AM? I heard a story on the radio about sleeping patterns, about getting less than 4 hours of sleep. I don't know what they were saying, so if anybody can find the news article, please write in comments, so I can read it.

I had more cramps this morning when I woke up, there must be some reason. I think I need to ask my mom whether she had cramps too? Because I remember a long time ago, for a while, whenever she had cramps, I had cramps too. Could there be some sort of a link? it'd be kind of freaky if there was huh?
