So I am sitting in front of the tv right now, I just finished moving most of my things out of my apartment. This may be one of the last days I will be at this apartment, kind of sad. I had such a good time living away from home this year, but moreso just living kind of on my own.

I had two roommates, and they were both great. Although at times I do not see them often, it still felt good to know they were around. And yes, I lived with two girls. It was not as hard as some may think. Sure the bathroom had more hair on the floor, but some of it was mine as well. There were some aspects that could of been improved, but I really liked living down here. And living downtown was even better, I did try to take advantage of living closer to people.

The only thing I found living downtown was it's dangerous and noisey. Almost every hour you hear an alarm or siren outside. Cars everywhere makes walking dangerous. But the good thing is a lot of get-togethers are more accessible. Perhaps another time I will be able to move out and have my own place. But it's good to live with someone, because if something goes wrong, you can get help. Oh, the best thing this year was the fact I had two other friends living in the same building. So if I ever needed something, I can always ask them, or if they needed somethinig, they can ask me. Or even if I needed to use their washroom because mine was in use, it helped. But that does not happen often.

And moreover, I had this talk within a fellowship setting, and we were talking about community. How hard to is for a bunch of friends or people to be a "community' with one another, if they do not live close to each other. One of the girl's there was one of the people I knew living in my building, and she mentioned how it was easier if we were "a community" because she only lives one floor down. And I think this makes some sense, I mean there is no sense of community in this day in age. People have to be really close in vicinity to have this sense of community. This is kind of sad because one would like to feel like they are in a community even if they do not live next door. I wonder how one can do this?
