It has been a very long time since I last bloggd. Let me make some updates, and I got goodies down below to talk about.
First thing that has changed since I last blogged is I have a job now. I am doing something I want to do, very happy with my job, and hopefully it will only get better. Right now I am dreaming big, so hopefully I'll come back down to earth. Been working now for two weeks, doing training so can't really say that work environment is great given I am not really working yet. But the work place is young and seems relaxed, so looking forward to a week from now to get right into it. stay tune to see if I will be singing the same song come time of actual work.
I finally got my last batch of photos back from my Europe Trip. I had downloaded them into a friend's computer and now have them back. When I was looking through them it reminded me of the trip, and I really want to go back now. I miss London. email me if you want to see my pictures, got some goodies in there I can point you to.
Season premieres have started. AND I MISSED SMALLVILLE. I really have to watch out when that first episode is on again. I need to tape it and save it. I have the entire 3rd season recorded on my harddrive and I don't plan on stopping now that I have begun. But I'll give you a quick recap of some new shows you may want to watch, and some old goodies and whether they are worth watching.
Joey, staring Matt LeBlanc from Friends. It's not a bad show and it is also kind of funny, I'd be surprised if it lasted more than 2 seasons. (this is probably going to come back and bite me.) Anyways, some good laughs, don't see a bigger picture and more importantly, a lasting picture of the storyline.
C.S.I. - NY, nothing has changed about this series. It will last like all the other ones.
North Shore, I am a guy and I won't lie, I watch it for the girls. Although this show does have some content and is mildly entertaining, it is like another Baywatch show. I'd be surprised if it lasted more than two seasons, although I kind of find it interesting.
Boston Legal, spinoff of The Practice. I kind of like it, I liked The Practice as well though, and that seems like it's down the tubes now. Although I think this will last quite a number of seasons.
Hawaii, a cop show on Hawaii. It does not have enough girls to last long, although I could be wrong. I have not heard anybody even talk about it so maybe one season.
Smallville, I am kicking myself for not turning on my computer to tape the first episode. I even watched last season's finale again to remind myself what happened and found out that I missed it that Chloe got killed. I am kind of offended when people look and judge me of watching this for Kirsten Kreuk. Tell you the truth, I find Chloe (the blonde girl) prettier than Lana. I don't know what it is, maybe it's the blonded hair, I do not know. But I fnid Chloe more attractive. But the show is totally not about the girls at all. If I wanted to watch girls I'd submerse myself in North Shore. But this show really has a good script.
ER, I think this show is running out of steam. It will be gone in the next two years if not this year I think. It is still good and I enjoy it, just it is not as great without the original doctors there and the Carter storyline is kind of getting annoying.
The Apprentice, everybit as good as season one.
ON TO SOME GOODIES FROM MY LIFE
So at work on Friday we went out to eat lunch, four of us. One of the ladies who is from Atlanta and came in to do the training, she is a PM, hilarious lady. Anyways, she asks me do I have a girlfriend. Unfortunately people, I do not have a girlfriend. Anyways, so the story. This guy we're with, he tells me good thing. He explains it this way. Girls are like sportscars. Everyguy wants them. We work hard to get them, do everything we can to fight for it. Because it's new, shiny, looks nice, and people look at it. BUT, when we get it, we realize the sportscar is not all it's cracked up to be. We can't afford it, insurance is high on it, when it breaks it costs you an arm and a leg, and then no one else wants it, and the worst thing is you can't bear being getting rid of it. So he tells me, STAY AWAY FROM THE SPORTSCAR, GO FOR THE HONDA CIVIC. hahahhaa, this was hilarious. What do you guys think? Honestly!
I think what he says has some truth. Let's face it the girl we want is our own sportscar. It is everything we want and more. When we get it we are proud of having it. However as time goes on we do start seeing the negative aspects of owning the sportscar, but we can't get rid of it, because we have grown to love the sportscar. It's like once you experience something so good you can't downgrade. You have to do everything possible to keep the sportscar.
Does anybody have any tips on how to understand sermons. Very seldom do I ever understand sermons, or even retain anything. I want to, but it just does not happen for me. I think it is because I sense a lecture style like school, and I just can't tune in and understand enough. Any tips to help me?
That is it for now I guess, if I find more time this week I will blog again.
