Funny thing I heard on the radio today. there is this context/race occuring this weekend. The prize is free beer. What is the contest you ask? It's a spouse carrying contest. The goal is to carry your spouse through some obstacle course. The past five years have been won by the Estonians.

They say their key to winning is the Estonian carry, which has the man carrying the wife (actually, they don't have to be married to participate), but the wife is upside down along the man's back. So her legs are gripping around his neck. odd huh. But it works. So the prize is beer, which is given as the same amount as the weight of the one being carried. So the heavier the wife, the better the prize. hahha. Also, the rules does not say the women cannot carry the man, but no one has gone that route before.

Here is another bit of news. The most absurd thing I've hear. There is this man in the States, he was being prosecuted for beating his wife or something, and was going to be given like a month in jail with a fee penalty or something. but what does he do, he spits in the officer's face. So what's the result of this, he will now spend the REST OF HIS LIFE in jail. hahaha. Why? Because there is a danger in the bodily fluid being transmitted that it may contain diseases life threatening. So now instead of some small time, he goes for life, what an idiot.

Interesting note, was thinking about my Canada day again, and how i went to the lakefront to go blading with the Hosanna group. thinking back, I don't really remember one really hot girl that sticks out in my mind. Where have all the pretty girls gone? It's odd, you have this extremely hot day, tons of people blading and biking, and walking. And not one girl that really stands out in my mind. it seems like the perfect environment for eye candy. this is interesting, is this a sign of the change in times, or what's the deal?

Furthermore, while we were blading, one of the girls in our group mentioned how feminism movement fought so hard to legalize women to go topless, yet no one utilizes it. what's the deal here? Women fight so hard to get it, make such a big deal, and then when they wno, no one cares, no one uses it, no one acts. What was the whole point in fighting for it then? Sounds to me like they were fighting for something for the sake of fighting and winning.

Here women are, complaining how guys can go topless and women can't. so finally they are able to, and no one uses it. I personally don't care if anyone uses it, I mean sure if some pretty girl decided to go topless, i'm not gonna go up to her and say how unappropriate it is, because it's legal, who am I to say anything. But how come no women utilizes "their right". I saw tons of guys go topless, but not one woman. Got any ideas why?

sounds to me like the feminism movement just wanted to win, they did not want to do it, they just wanted to win. to have the power, and then never use it. it was a pointless debate if that is really the case. I bet woman are not even comfortable with going topless in public, majority of women that is. maybe another generation will pass before they do start becoming comfortable, who knows.

I'm not here to promote all women to go topless, just wondering waht was the point of fighting if no one uses it. It was such a big deal wehn the law passed, and now that it has, it's a law hardly ever utilized. Probably women wanted to fight the law for the sake of fighting.
