Took the day off work yesterday to go to the doctor's. Had a 3 mth wait from when I made it, and I only got that timeslot because someone else cancelled. anyways, it was nice sleeping 10 hours. I went to sleep at an amazing 11:15PM, I know, so early huh. I remmeber when I was young always went to bed at 11PM, and that was late, now it's like, that it so early, why do we always stay up late at night?

Anyways, cool thing happened at the gym Monday night. Was talking with one of the guys that work there, always say hi to him when I see him, ask him how he's doing. But this time, I decided to ask a few more questions, "does he like working here?" A little more personal questions. anyways, he asked me a few questions, and it led to the question "how old are you?" he asked me. So I said 21. He said, "do you go out drinking at all?" So after I answered that, I asked him how old he thought I was. He said I looked 18!!!! Man, that cna either be a good thing or a bad thing. I wish I was still young, cause I'm feeling old lately. Although sometimes looking young will not help you much either, won't get the respect. But doesn't matter, fact is I'm 21. But I liked it actually when he said I looked 18.

I did my first Staples price match yesterday too. Got them to price match for a printer I bought. Got a new Laser printer last night, haven't installed it yet, but will do so tonight. Price matches are great, got a great deal on this printer.

For the last like 2 mths, I've been trying to find my collection of baseball cards. I stored them in the basement on these racks before my parents cleaned the whole basement a while back. So they put my cards somewhere, and I could not find them. I searched every box in the back of the basement to no avail. Then my mom suggested one place to look, the bottom cabinet of this wall unit that is blocked off by this tv unit in the basement. took me a long tiem to move everything, but I found the cards in there at last. So the reason I was looking for them was becaue I have these binders in my closet in my room with cards in them, I wanted to put them all in boxes, but together. So now I can clean my room.

So last night I cleaned, and looked at the cards I had accumulated over many years of my childhood. I have tons of them, boxes, binders and everything. Was looking through them to see what I have, what may be worth some money. I was a little disappointed to say most that I thought were of some value were of players who now have deteriorated a lot, and probably not worth much.

But, I did some find Sammy Sosa cards that I thought back then were worth nothing, but now may be worth a lot, they were like when he was with the white Sox, way back when. I collected tons of cards, hockey, football, basketball and baseball. I have many sets, including most of the McDonalds sets for baseball and hockey. I have ones Petro Canada sold, Blacks photography gave away, some from cereal boxes. I even had two boxes full of cards still in it's packaging, opened, but I had no other way to store them, so they are in it's packaging.

I cannot believe how much money I spent on these things.I got cards of Shaquille O'Neal when he was with the Magic. I even bought Yes! cards. those are chinese cards that come out of those red machines, with profiles of the HK singers. Oh yeah, I bought those too. hahah, I can't believe I spent money on those. I remember my cousin taught me this technique to rip off the machines to get more cards. Those were good times, and money well spent =) So now my room is a little more clean, cleared out two boxes full of stuff, mind you a lot of it already came from the basement.

Oh, some of the best stuff I found. I haev a binder full of WWF magazines. Oh yeah, I loved wrestling as a child, what guy didn't? I have ones with Lex Luger, Nailz, Hulk Hogan, Ultimate warrior on the cover. Oh, got this one with Yokozuna. hahahah. Those were all before the magazines started printing ones with centrefolds and such. hahaha. those were the days.

Funny story today on my drive to work. As always, the 427/401 interchange is busy. 401 busy up until past 400 as always. So I was merging onto the 401. Saw an opening, two openings actually, started crossing two lanes. Then I see this yellow WRX behind me, following my every move. I cahbegd two lanes, he changed two lanes. Then I saw this other opening, in front of this pig truck, I quickly switched lanes in front of the truck, and he followed me too. But bad move on his part, he did not merge into the Express lane when the split happened right before Islington. Should of listened to 680 news, they said collectors backed up past 400 to keele. express is good after 400. Such an expensive car, 300 Hp, and still cannot beat this Dodge Van. hahaha.

This week at my work is the Navtel Sports day. Navtel is the name of the company I work for, and so we're having this half day of fun! hahaha. So I signed up to play one of the games offered. Listen to this list of "sports". We got Pool, ping pong, chess, and checkers. hahaha. oh yeah, those are some real sports. hahaha. but for low cost, I guess what else can we get. there is this golf option, but doubt many will go, cause it costs more. So I signed up to play pool, but i know I can't win. I can only play snooker, and 8-ball I am not good at. I have gotten better at ping pong, but still not as good as the fierce competitors at work. hahaha. So taht goes tomorrow.

I know a lot of people have been reading "Purpose Driven life" by Rick Warren. But how many of you have done it in 40 days as the book suggests? I have talked to a lot of people who have been reading the book and I have not found many who have actually read it in 40 days. Mind you, I guess taking longer is not bad, because it's good to take your time and absorb the book. I guess Rick just suggests, not reading it in one night or something. But I dunno, I just found it slightly odd but not surprised that so many have not done it in 40 days.
